Mission

The mission of the NAPCP is to foster an exceptional community that provides evidence-informed and cost-effective naturopathic primary care based on rigor, science, knowledge, and philosophy through ongoing education, interprofessional dialogue, and mentorship.  

Vision

Through interdisciplinary outreach and collaboration, our vision is to foster improved quality of and access to post-graduate training opportunities in order to create naturopathic primary care physicians of the highest caliber.

Goals

Educational programs:

  • Provide continuing educational programs to build post-graduate primary care clinical skills.

  • Provide mentorship through case discussions and grand rounds to enhance clinical reasoning while integrating naturopathic primary care philosophy.

  • Provide in person and digital resources to review current topics in naturopathic primary care. 

Community Engagement:

  • Expand NAPCP chapters to promote opportunities in the larger medical field and to broaden access and engagement with naturopathic medicine. 

Advocacy:

  • Foster a profession that provides to all - regardless of gender, sexual orientation, race, size, ability, class, religion, and age - with safe and effective preventative and restorative health care, while continuously working towards health equity.

  • Expand access and affordability of naturopathic primary care.
